Glorietta by Ayala Malls is championing digital well-being and safer online experiences for Filipino families as it hosts Meta’s flagship interactive showcase, “Digital Dialogue in Real Life: Safety Starts with Conversation” (DDIRL), from October 26 to 30, 2026.

The initiative begins on October 26 at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center with a multisectoral forum bringing together educators, youth advocates, and government leaders to highlight the shared responsibility of keeping young people safe online.

From October 27 to 30, the interactive exhibit will move to Level 1 of Glorietta, where visitors can explore its activities daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Turning Online Safety Into Meaningful Conversations

Designed to make digital safety more approachable, the DDIRL exhibit transforms conversations about online risks into interactive experiences that parents and teens can explore together.

Visitors can participate in guided walkthroughs featuring visual prompts and activities covering everyday digital experiences, including social media feeds, online peer interactions, and identifying potential cyber threats. The exhibit also features live demonstrations of Meta’s safety tools, including Teen Accounts, parental supervision features, and age-appropriate privacy settings.

Families can also access free educational materials and support resources from partner organizations, including the Department of Education (DepEd), Stairway Foundation through modules from its Kaagapay Program, the National Youth Commission (NYC), and the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP).

Creating A Safe Space For Families

“At Ayala Malls, our spaces are intentionally designed as extensions of the Filipino home—a trusted ‘third space’ devoted to nurturing the people and relationships that walk through our doors,” said Mae Dichupa, Asset Management Portfolio Head, Makati and BGC, Ayala Malls.

“Looking after today’s families means safeguarding both their everyday comfort and their digital well-being. By opening Glorietta to this vital dialogue, we are providing a warm, neutral ground where parents and teens can step away from their personal screens, listen to each other and build better habits together,” she added.

The initiative encourages families to make online safety an ongoing conversation rather than a one-time lecture, helping parents and teens build greater understanding and develop healthier digital habits together.

Visitors are invited to experience the Meta DDIRL exhibit while enjoying Glorietta’s family-friendly dining, shopping, and leisure destinations.
