Filipino coconut products are taking the spotlight as thoughtful, sustainable holiday gifts at the 2026 DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair, 2nd Edition, featuring COCONUTPhilippines. The event will showcase a curated selection of food and non-food coconut products from across the country, highlighting the versatility of one of the Philippines’ most valuable agricultural resources.
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through its Bureau of Market Development, Promotions, and OTOP (BMDPO), in coordination with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), the fair aims to connect micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and beneficiaries of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) with urban consumers, retailers, and commercial distributors.
Celebrating Filipino Coconut Products
Building on the first National Trade Fair edition’s ₱129.69 million in sales and the recent COCONUTPhilippines Trade Fair’s ₱309.58 million in sales, the second edition aims to strengthen domestic market growth, capture holiday shopping demand, and help local enterprises prepare for export opportunities.
Visitors can discover a diverse range of coconut-based products, from festive delicacies and coconut sugar to natural cosmetics, kitchenware, lifestyle décor, and specially curated corporate gift packages. The showcase highlights how local coconut products can offer practical, distinctive, and locally made alternatives for holiday gifting.
Beyond direct selling, the fair will feature interactive product pavilions, live culinary and wine-mixing demonstrations, and structured business-matching activities. These initiatives will give participating enterprises opportunities to gather customer feedback and refine their packaging, pricing, and distribution strategies as they prepare to reach wider retail markets.
Guests can also enjoy special attractions, including the COCO Bar Café, daily themed activities, and educational business talks throughout the event.
