TP in the Philippines has been named Sustainability Company of the Year at the 2026 Asia CEO Awards, recognizing its efforts to integrate environmental responsibility, inclusive employment, and community development into its business operations.
The recognition comes as TP marks its 30th year of operations in the Philippines, celebrating three decades of creating career opportunities and developing Filipino talent for global businesses. The company also received its ninth consecutive Great Place to Work® (GPTW) certification, reaffirming its commitment to an inclusive workplace where employees can grow and thrive.
Held at the Manila Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City, the awards ceremony also recognized TP with Circle of Excellence distinctions in three categories: Most Innovative Company of the Year, Service Excellence Company of the Year, and CEO of the Year, awarded to Rahul Jolly, CEO of TP in the Philippines.
These recognitions highlight the company’s continued focus on responsible business practices, employee well-being, and sustainable growth. TP currently operates 29 sites nationwide, with approximately 60,000 employees serving global brands across multiple industries. It continues to expand employment opportunities for Filipinos, recently organizing major job fairs in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro.
“Receiving this award reflects TP’s belief that lasting business success must go hand-in-hand with the well-being of people and the environment,” said Dipto Sen, chief financial officer of TP in the Philippines. He added that the company remains committed to inclusive progress, responsible resource use, and creating value that can be sustained for generations to come.
Advancing Environmental Sustainability
TP’s environmental initiatives focus on reducing emissions and improving energy efficiency across its operations. In 2025, renewable energy accounted for 63% of the company’s energy consumption, while its carbon emissions intensity declined to 0.25 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) per employee—a 77% reduction since 2019.
The company also works with property partners to reduce emissions across its leased facilities, including those operating in LEED-certified buildings. Through its participation in the annual Earth Hour initiative, TP’s sites nationwide collectively saved more than 33,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity.
These measures form part of its broader commitment to making its nationwide operations more energy-efficient and environmentally responsible.
Expanding Inclusive Employment And Community Impact
Beyond environmental initiatives, TP’s sustainability efforts encompass workforce development, employee well-being, and community engagement. Its ninth consecutive GPTW certification reflects its continued emphasis on building a supportive workplace where employees feel valued and have opportunities to develop their careers.
Through Citizen of the World (COTW), its corporate social responsibility program, TP mobilized 250 volunteers in 2025, generating 6,613 volunteer hours and providing ₱1.7 million in support to more than 10,300 Filipinos.
The company also invests in career development through TP STEP, a skills training-to-employment program designed to help near-hires in the IT-BPM industry gain foundational knowledge and prepare for future job applications.
Its Impact Sourcing initiatives extend opportunities to marginalized communities, including persons with disabilities, the long-term unemployed, and underserved youth. By providing technical and soft skills training, these programs aim to create pathways into formal careers in the digital and contact center industries.
Meanwhile, TP LaunchPad, the company’s career-readiness and university relations program, provides students with practical exposure, skills development, and employment pathways. In 2026, the initiative reached more than 20,000 students across over 40 partner schools.
Embedding Sustainability In Business Operations
As TP expands its workforce and nationwide presence, it continues to strengthen the systems supporting safe, responsible, and resilient operations.
In 2025, the company secured ISO 45001:2018 certification for occupational health and safety management and ISO 14001:2015 certification for environmental management across its site operations. These internationally recognized standards reinforce its efforts to integrate workplace safety, employee well-being, and environmental management into everyday business practices.
Three decades into its Philippine operations, TP continues to build on its commitment to its people, the communities it serves, and the environment, recognizing that long-term business success depends on creating value beyond the workplace.
The Asia CEO Awards recognizes individuals and organizations for their contributions to economic progress and their role in strengthening the Philippines’ position as a leading business destination in the Asia-Pacific region.
