Filipino-made coconut products take the spotlight at the 2026 DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair, 2nd Edition, featuring COCONUTPhilippines, bringing together a curated selection of food, beauty, and lifestyle products from across the country. With the holiday season approaching, the fair offers shoppers an opportunity to discover distinctive gifts while supporting local entrepreneurs and the communities behind the Philippine coconut industry.
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through its Bureau of Market Development, Promotions, and OTOP (BMDPO), in coordination with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), the event connects micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and beneficiaries of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) with urban consumers, retailers, and commercial distributors.
Strengthening Local Businesses Through Market Opportunities
The second edition builds on the first National Trade Fair’s ₱129.69 million in sales and the COCONUTPhilippines Trade Fair’s ₱309.58 million in sales. Through expanded market exposure, the event aims to stimulate domestic demand, tap into holiday shopping, and help participating businesses prepare for export opportunities.
Visitors can explore a diverse range of coconut-based products, from festive delicacies and coconut sugar to natural cosmetics, kitchenware, lifestyle décor, and specially curated corporate gift packages. The showcase highlights the versatility of Philippine coconut resources and their potential to create innovative, market-ready products.
Participating enterprises will also have opportunities to connect with prospective buyers through direct selling, interactive product pavilions, live culinary and wine-mixing demonstrations, and structured business-matching activities. These engagements can help businesses gather customer feedback and refine their packaging, pricing, and distribution strategies for larger retail markets.
Discover Coconut-Based Products This Holiday Season
Beyond the product displays, visitors can look forward to the COCO Bar Café, daily themed activities, and educational business talks throughout the fair. These attractions offer opportunities to discover new products, learn more about the coconut industry, and connect with the entrepreneurs bringing Filipino-made goods to market.
Consumers, corporate buyers, and industry representatives are invited to visit the 2026 National Trade Fair featuring COCONUTPhilippines from October 21 to 25, 2026, at Megatrade Halls 1–3, 5th Level, Mega B, SM Megamall.
Admission is free, giving visitors the chance to shop for authentic, high-quality local products while supporting Filipino cocopreneurs and the communities that sustain the country’s coconut industry.
