Marking nearly a decade and a half of collaboration, Smart Communications and TNT supported Telepreneur Corp. (TPC) during its high-energy 2026 Kick-Off Event, ushering in the company’s 14th year of operations.

The milestone follows TPC’s 13th anniversary in 2025 and highlights a long-standing partnership facilitated through key account partner Hatchiko. Over the years, the collaboration has become a key driver of TPC’s operations and a catalyst for digital inclusion across the Philippines.

A Foundation of Resilience and Growth

Since its founding, the partnership between Smart, TNT, Hatchiko, and TPC has focused on providing “pang-masa” livelihood opportunities by enabling Filipinos to earn income through mobile loading services. The initiative helped transform prepaid load from a product available only in select outlets into a service accessible in communities nationwide.

“Our partnership with Smart and TNT through Hatchiko has been with us since day one,” said Mariel Astudillo, president of TPC, noting that the collaboration has helped the company overcome industry challenges and grow its nationwide network.

According to Sajiron Dayao, TPC vice president for sales and marketing, reaching the 14-year milestone is notable in the multi-level marketing sector in the Philippines. To date, the partnership has helped produce over 1,200 self-made millionaires within the TPC community.

Human Connection in a Digital Age

Despite the rise of e-wallets and digital transactions, Christian So, AVP and head of national key accounts at Smart, said TPC’s strength lies in its person-to-person customer service.

“TPC thrives on person-to-person selling,” So explained. “Helping customers choose the right product for their budget is something technology alone cannot replace. It’s important that Smart is present for all walks of life, whether they are digitally savvy or value that human connection.”

Driving Momentum for 2026

The 2026 kick-off event also served as a strategic platform to energize TPC’s nationwide network. During the event, Smart and TNT introduced the Sumakses Loyalty Promo, offering incentives to members as they grow their communities.

The celebration featured several raffle prizes, including a motorcycle, a laptop, and 14 smartphones, symbolizing the 14-year partnership.

Looking ahead, TPC said it will continue investing in system and infrastructure upgrades to adapt to evolving technology while pursuing its core mission of uplifting Filipino communities. With a growing membership base that includes many overseas Filipino workers, the partnership is expanding its reach beyond the Philippines.
