Isla LPG Corporation is strengthening its commitment to safety and excellence in the Philippine LPG industry with the launch of Isla EDGE, a dedicated training arm focused on developing competent, safety-conscious, and qualified LPG practitioners.
The initiative was formally introduced during a recognition and launch event on August 19, 2026, following the Department of Energy (DOE) recognition of Isla LPG Corporation as one of the country’s LPG Training Organizations.
Building A More Capable LPG Workforce
LPG remains an important part of everyday life in the Philippines, with 47.9% of households using it as their primary cooking fuel according to the Philippine Statistics Authority’s 2020 Census of Population and Housing. As the sector continues to grow and evolve, proper handling, storage, transportation, distribution, and sale of LPG remain essential to protecting consumers, workers, businesses, and communities.
Through Isla EDGE, Isla LPG aims to strengthen the skills of LPG retailers and dealers through quality training and continuous learning. Its programs cover competencies across the LPG value chain, including safe handling and operations, responsible distribution and sales practices, and compliance with industry standards.
