Teachers, parents, and play advocates are invited to the first-ever RePlay Summit, a day dedicated to exploring the role of purposeful play in early childhood development. Set at Museo Pambata in time for World Children’s Month, the summit carries the theme “Pledge to Play for a Better Tomorrow”, featuring interactive play areas, forums, and hands-on activities designed to nurture creativity, resilience, and empathy in children.

The keynote speaker, Professor Maricar Gustilo-DeF Ocampo of De La Salle University, will present “The Past, Present, and Future of PLAY”, while Nina Lim-Yuson, founder of Museo Pambata, shares her kindness story. Other highlights include Laila Pornel-Espital on the joys of risky and outdoor play, and Inah Salazar on connecting children with the natural world. Afternoon sessions feature Bambi Mañosa-Tanjutco discussing “The Art of Building a Kinder World” and a forum on play landscapes, spotlighting methods from Reggio Emilia to music-based, inclusive, and mindful play.

Attendees can also engage in activity stations, educational games, and enjoy full access to Museo Pambata exhibits. Collaborators like The Happy Blue House will help bring the summit’s themes to life.

Since 2022, RePlay (Reinventing Play) has championed play as a transformative learning approach. “Speaking the children’s language is the best way to teach them,” says founder and Kindness Coach Phi Anh. “Through mindfulness, connection, and creativity, we empower teachers, parents, and volunteers to unlock the limitless potential of play.”

Tickets for the summit are ₱3,000 onsite and ₱2,500 online, covering all activities, learning materials, a guided tour, and a Certificate of Attendance. Register at linktr.ee/reinventingplay. Updates on workshops and play initiatives are available via @reinventingplay on Facebook and Instagram.
