TOTO Returns To The Philippines For Two Concerts In Manila And Cebu In March 2027

Legendary rock band TOTO is making its highly anticipated return to the Philippines with two performances scheduled for March 2027. The band will perform at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on March 29, 2027, followed by a show at the SM Seaside Cebu Arena on March 30, 2027, bringing its celebrated catalog of timeless hits to Filipino fans.

The concerts mark another chapter in TOTO’s enduring relationship with its Philippine audience, as the band continues to introduce its music to new generations of listeners.

Five Decades of Timeless Music

TOTO’s journey began on January 7, 1977, when its founding lineup first gathered at Davlen Studios in North Hollywood, California, to record demos that would eventually become the band’s debut album.

Co-founders David Paich and Jeff Porcaro, together with Steve Lukather, Bobby Kimball, Steve Porcaro, and David Hungate, launched a career that has remained celebrated and relevant for nearly five decades. In 2009, TOTO was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame.

The band’s global audience has continued to expand over the years, with streaming platforms introducing its music to younger listeners. TOTO has accumulated more than nine billion streams across digital service providers, reflecting the lasting appeal of its extensive catalog.

Its signature hit “Africa” has surpassed two billion plays on Spotify alone, while “Hold The Line” has exceeded one billion streams. Other fan favorites continue to attract significant listenership, including “I’ll Be Over You,” which generates more than one million streams monthly, and “Georgy Porgy,” with consistently more than 750,000 monthly plays.

The band’s other widely streamed songs include “I Won’t Hold You Back,” “Stop Loving You,” “Lea,” “Pamela,” “I Will Remember,” “99,” “Make Believe,” “I’ll Supply The Love,” and “Stranger In Town.”

A World-Class Lineup for the 2027 Tour

TOTO’s current lineup features band leaders Steve Lukather on guitar and vocals and Joseph Williams on vocals, joined by Warren Ham on horns, percussion, and vocals; John Pierce on bass; Keith Carlock on drums; and Dennis Atlas and Rai Thistlethwayte on keyboards and vocals.

Across 2025 and 2026, the band performed for more than 850,000 ticket holders worldwide, underscoring its continued international appeal.

Lukather expressed his excitement about returning to the Philippines, recognizing the country’s longstanding support for the band.

“From the earliest stages of our career, the Philippines has supported Toto. There is a mutual affection between us and the entire country. I can’t wait to bring them great shows featuring Joe, myself and a band comprised of world-class musicians. It’s going to be a great time for everyone in the venue come 2027,” he shared.

Williams, who joined TOTO in 1986, also reflected on his decades with the band and the musicians who have helped shape its legacy. He described the experience as a labor of love and expressed pride in continuing the journey alongside Lukather and the current lineup, known as Dogz Of Oz.

“I can’t wait to come back to Japan and perform on this historic 50th anniversary!” Williams said.

Co-founding keyboardist David Paich likewise expressed his gratitude that TOTO’s music continues to resonate with younger generations. Reflecting on the band’s five-decade history, he acknowledged Lukather, Williams, and the musicians who continue to bring the songs to audiences around the world.
