Asialink Finance Corporation (AFC), one of the country’s leading non-bank financial institutions, closed 2025 with a 6% increase in loan disbursements, reaching ₱16.6 billion across its portfolio. The solid performance reflects AFC’s sustained commitment to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), earning the confidence of new funders who joined the Asian Development Bank (ADB) credit facility.
With a fresh $50 million loan addition, the total ADB-backed facility now stands at $165 million, strengthening AFC’s capacity to support MSMEs nationwide in 2026. Backed by multiple industry awards, a rapidly expanding branch network, and the successful rollout of its Women’s Access to Inclusive Support (WAIS) Loan, AFC enters the new year positioned for continued growth.
“2025 has been a monumental year for Asialink,” said Samuel Cariño, President and CEO of AFC. “From expanding our reach to launching products aligned with evolving community needs, every milestone reinforces our mission to better serve Filipinos and fuel their aspirations.”
AFC surpassed 250 operational branches across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in 2025, serving over 19,000 MSMEs and extending accessible financing beyond major urban centers. Strategic partnerships with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Mega International Commercial Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank further strengthened its global network and lending capacity. The company also received recognition from the International Finance Awards and Asian Banking & Finance Awards, honoring its growth, accessibility, and customer-centric services.
A key highlight was the launch of the WAIS Loan, introduced during AFC’s 28th anniversary to support women entrepreneurs. Since July 2025, the program has already served more than 2,600 women-led MSMEs, with actress Jolina Magdangal fronting the campaign to champion inclusive financing.
Looking ahead to 2026, AFC plans to expand its loan offerings and grow its branch network to nearly 300 locations, while leveraging its expanded ADB facility to empower more Filipino entrepreneurs nationwide.
