South Korean band KIK is expanding its international music journey with “ROAD,” a new collaborative digital single featuring Australian singer-songwriter will hyde.

Released on August 31 at 12:00 PM KST, the track is now available across major streaming platforms. Blending KIK’s dynamic band instrumentation with will hyde’s delicate vocals, “ROAD” explores the experience of reconnecting with someone despite physical distance and the passage of time.

The collaboration also marks another step in KIK’s growing presence beyond South Korea. The band previously worked with Thai group Dept on “piece of peace,” continuing its efforts to explore different sounds and connect with artists from across Asia and beyond.

KIK first performed “ROAD” at the 2026 Music Flow Festival, giving audiences an early taste of the track. The performance showcased the band’s evolving musicianship and confident stage presence as they celebrate their first anniversary this year.

Meanwhile, will hyde brings his own international following to the collaboration. The Australian singer-songwriter has around 400,000 monthly Spotify listeners and more than 100 million cumulative global streams. He has also gained recognition in South Korea through collaborations with MRCH and imzoo, as well as a shout-out from Stray Kids’ Bang Chan.

KIK is also set to make its mark on the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest Asia, having been selected as part of the South Korean lineup. The band previously previewed an unreleased track titled “F1” ahead of the competition.

The South Korean qualifying round featuring KIK will air on ENA on September 4 at 11:00 PM KST.

With “ROAD” and Eurovision Song Contest Asia on the horizon, KIK is continuing to build momentum as it takes its music to a wider global audience.
