PUMA, in partnership with RUNRIO, concluded the PUMA Manila Half Marathon 2026 on October 11 at the MOA Concert Grounds in Pasay City, bringing together 13,000 runners for the sixth and final leg of its six-city nationwide series.

Participants took on the 5K, 10K, and 21K distances, turning the Manila leg into a celebration of athletic achievement, community spirit, and active living.

National Athletes Lead The Pack

Philippine national team athletes delivered standout performances across the featured distances. Long-distance specialist Edna Magtubo claimed the 21K championship, while track athlete Jessa Mae Roda topped the 10K category. Speed specialist Dhem AJ Monton secured the 5K title, highlighting the depth of local running talent.

PUMA’s roster of elite athletes also made its mark on race day. SEA Games steeplechase medalist Junel Gobotia and road racer Jonna Abutas earned podium finishes in the 10K category, putting their training and PUMA performance footwear to the test against some of the country’s top runners.

A Star-Studded Starting Line

The Manila leg brought together competitive athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and familiar personalities from the local entertainment and running communities.

Fitness icon and actress Aubrey Miles, known for her dedication to long-distance running, joined the participants on the course alongside content creator and motorsports enthusiast Dominic Roque.

Running influencers Leira Monton, who combines competitive racing with lifestyle fitness, and Angelo Cabildo, known for sharing training insights with amateur runners, also took part in the event, adding to the strong community presence.

Racing With The Deviate NITRO 4

PUMA’s focus on running innovation was evident throughout the race, with many participants wearing the Deviate NITRO 4, the brand’s performance shoe designed for competitive running.

The shoe features a PWRPLATE carbon-composite plate engineered to provide foot stability and responsive forward propulsion. Designed for demanding race distances, it supports runners as they tackle the course from the starting line to the finish.

Honoring The All-City Legacy Finishers

The Manila event also marked a special milestone for dedicated participants of the nationwide series through the presentation of the All-City Legacy Medal.

The exclusive recognition was awarded to runners who completed the 21K distance across all six race legs, celebrating their consistency, commitment, and perseverance throughout the circuit.

Championing A Stronger Running Community

The 2026 Philippine Half Marathon Series reflects PUMA’s continued commitment to supporting the local running community and encouraging healthier, more active lifestyles among Filipinos of all fitness levels.

Through race events and performance innovations, PUMA aims to empower athletes to push their limits, pursue new personal bests, and develop a lasting passion for running.
