Manila – January 14, 2026 – While AI has become deeply embedded in personal life, its impact at work has lagged due to fragmented tools, lack of context, and trust concerns. At Dreamforce, Salesforce unveiled its solution: Agentforce 360 with Slack as the conversational interface, bringing enterprise-grade AI directly into the flow of work.
At the heart of this vision is a reimagined Slackbot, now a deeply personal AI agent built directly into Slack. Designed for the Agentic Enterprise, Slackbot helps employees find answers, organize work, create content, schedule meetings, and take action—without leaving Slack or learning new tools. It works with the context employees already have: conversations, files, channels, customer data, and workflows, while always respecting permissions and access controls.
Unlike standalone AI tools, Slackbot understands who you work with, what you’re working on, and what matters. This built-in context makes it more accurate, relevant, and trustworthy.
Over time, Slackbot will also become the primary way to interact with Agentforce and third-party agents, orchestrating actions and workflows behind the scenes through simple conversation.
“Slackbot isn’t just another AI assistant. It’s the front door to the Agentic Enterprise,” said Parker Harris, Co-Founder of Salesforce and CTO of Slack. “It brings AI grounded in company data, workflows, and Slack conversations directly into the flow of work.”
Slackbot connects conversations with Salesforce customer data, enabling better decision-making—from preparing customer briefings to understanding account health. Built on Slack’s trusted security foundation, it delivers enterprise-grade AI through a personal, conversational experience.
The new Slackbot is generally available starting January 13, 2026, for Business+ and Enterprise+ customers, with a phased rollout through February.
