HOKKAIDO, Japan – January 21, 2026 – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announces the opening of The Green Leaf Niseko Village, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, marking the debut of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Japan. Located at the foot of Mount Niseko Annupuri within Niseko Village Ski Resort, the winter-season hotel will operate exclusively during Niseko’s renowned White Season, offering prime access to world-class skiing.
The 200-room property joins more than 180 Tapestry Collection hotels globally, each defined by vibrant design and locally inspired experiences. The opening further strengthens Hilton’s lifestyle brand presence in Japan, alongside Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda, upcoming Canopy properties in Okinawa and Tokyo, and a second Curio Collection hotel set to open in Kyoto by 2028.

Designed as a winter sanctuary, The Green Leaf Niseko Village blends nature, culture, and craftsmanship through a lodge-style experience with direct ski-in, ski-out access. Interiors draw inspiration from Niseko’s serene winter landscapes, creating a warm retreat after days on the slopes. The hotel features collaborations with local artists, including 200 works by painter Soichiro Tomioka displayed throughout guestrooms and corridors, and contemporary artwork by Sapporo-based artist Emi Shiratori, whose designs appear across public spaces and guest touchpoints.
The property offers thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, a tranquil indoor-outdoor onsen fed by a natural hot spring, and dining experiences that highlight Hokkaido’s seasonal produce. Guests can enjoy Goshiki restaurant, the Tomioka White lobby lounge, and access to additional dining venues within Niseko Village. Wellness facilities include the Juhyo Spa and a fully equipped fitness center.
The Green Leaf Niseko Village participates in Hilton Honors, Hilton’s award-winning loyalty program, offering members exclusive benefits and seamless digital experiences. The hotel is located in Higashiyama Onsen, Niseko-cho, Hokkaido, Japan.
