The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP), the country’s foremost authority in digital innovation, redefined the conversation on responsible personalization at the 10th Digital Congress (DigiCon) held on October 16–17, 2025, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City. Themed “The Age of ‘i’: The Power of Personalization,” this year’s event gathered over 2,000 industry leaders, marketers, entrepreneurs, and academics eager to explore how technology, data, and creativity intersect to deliver meaningful, human-centered engagement in the digital age.

Through five learning tracks—Innovation (AI), Intelligence (Data Science), Immersive (Retail & Activations), Impact (Brand Building), and Integration (Business Transformation)—delegates gained insight into how data-driven strategies can shape the next wave of customer experience. Global emerging tech expert Dex Hunter-Torricke, former communications executive at Facebook and SpaceX, emphasized how the rise of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) will usher in hyper-personalization that’s “vastly more bespoke and customized to every customer and community.”

Meanwhile, DigiCon 2025 Chair Alan Fontanilla underscored that personalization must be guided by empathy, ethics, and consent, reminding marketers that “people want relevance—but also respect.” DMAP President Miko David echoed this sentiment, stressing that “the future is connected and powered by AI, but its success depends on responsible practices.” By fostering meaningful dialogue and certifying participants in partnership with Certified Digital Marketer (CDM), DMAP ensures that Filipino marketers remain future-ready and grounded in purpose as they navigate the fast-evolving digital landscape.
