Employees of TP (formerly Teleperformance) participated in a coastal cleanup at the Las Piñas–Parañaque Wetland Park as part of Sustainable Shores World Cleanup Day, an initiative focused on reducing marine pollution and protecting coastal environments.
Volunteers from TP’s EDSA, McKinley, Sucat, and Molino sites, alongside participants from other companies, collected more than 488 kilograms of solid waste and contributed nearly 200 volunteer hours.
The activity was organized by TP’s Citizen of the World (COTW) foundation in partnership with CORA Philippines and the France-Philippines United Action Foundation (FPUA).
Supporting Environmental Sustainability
The cleanup forms part of TP’s broader sustainability initiatives in the Philippines, which include environmental stewardship, responsible resource use, and climate action.
Through Sustainable Shores, communities, volunteers, and corporate partners work together to address water pollution through coastal and waterway cleanups. The initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG 12 on Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 13 on Climate Action.
TP’s participation underscores its commitment to collective environmental action and coastal conservation.
