Finding wireless earbuds that combine long-lasting battery life, effective noise cancellation, and everyday comfort without the premium price tag can be challenging. HUAWEI aims to change that with the upcoming HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 MAX, an all-around audio companion offering up to 80 hours of total battery life and AI-powered Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for under ₱3,000.

Ocean-Inspired Elegance in a Minimalist Design

The HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 MAX features a soft, minimalist aesthetic designed to complement everyday style. Its charging case combines a semi-transparent top cover with 45% translucency and a pearl-like matte bottom shell designed to resist streaks and fingerprints.

Available in White, Black, and Blue, the earbuds offer a compact, fashion-forward look. The standout Blue colorway draws inspiration from the skies above and the ocean below.

MAX Power: Up to 80 Hours of Listening

Running out of battery during a commute or an important meeting can disrupt an entire day. The HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 MAX addresses this with up to 80 hours of total battery life when used with its charging case, offering more than two weeks of listening for users with typical usage patterns.

Whether navigating EDSA traffic, attending consecutive virtual meetings, binge-watching a favorite series, or traveling on long bus rides and international layovers, users can enjoy extended listening without constantly searching for a power outlet.

For those always on the go, a quick 10-minute charge with the charging case provides up to four hours of continuous playback, making it convenient for students rushing to class and gym-goers preparing for a workout.

MAX Silence: Adaptive AI Noise Cancellation

Beyond long-lasting power, the FreeBuds SE 5 MAX offers up to 52dB of Active Noise Cancellation, designed to suppress up to 99.9% of surrounding noise.

Its Dynamic 3 Multi-Mode AI Noise Cancellation system reads the surrounding environment and automatically adjusts its intensity. Ultra mode helps block louder sounds, such as the rumble of an MRT ride or the noise of a busy wet market. Medium mode reduces distractions in bustling food courts, while Cosy mode targets subtler sounds, including air-conditioning hums and nearby page-turning.

The earbuds also feature Wind Noise Resistance and a 6-Mic AI Call Noise Cancellation system that isolates human voices from environmental sounds. These features help users maintain clearer conversations while walking outdoors, passing construction sites, or waiting at busy transport terminals.

MAX Comfort: A Lightweight, Customizable Fit

Designed for extended listening, each earbud weighs just 4.3 grams, making the FreeBuds SE 5 MAX the lightest HUAWEI earbuds to date.

Its ergonomic design draws on research involving more than 10 million human ear data points and 10,000 physical ear samples collected by HUAWEI Labs. The result is a lightweight fit intended to reduce discomfort during long meetings, shopping trips, and daily commutes.

For a more personalized fit, each box includes skin-friendly silicone ear tips in three sizes: S, M, and L. Users can select the size that provides the most secure and comfortable fit, whether they are jogging in the park or walking through crowded streets.

MAX Sound Quality: Detailed Audio Wherever You Go

The HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 MAX brings high-resolution audio capabilities to a more accessible price point. Featuring 4K-Level Hi-Res audio powered by LDAC technology, the earbuds deliver up to three times more sound detail than standard Bluetooth connections.

A 10mm dynamic driver complements the audio technology, producing richer bass and clear sound across different listening experiences. From music streaming during rush-hour traffic to enjoying favorite artists on the way home, users can experience more detailed audio wherever they are.

MAX Connections: Seamless Switching Across Devices

Designed for users who move between multiple gadgets, the FreeBuds SE 5 MAX supports Android, iOS, and Windows devices. Its dual-device connection allows users to stay connected to two devices without repeatedly unpairing and reconnecting.

Powered by Bluetooth 6.0, the earbuds are designed to provide stable connections and accurate audio synchronization. Users can switch from watching a lecture on a tablet to answering a call on a smartphone with greater convenience.

For further customization, the HUAWEI Audio Connect app, available on Android and iOS, gives users access to gesture controls, 10-band EQ settings, ANC modes, and other listening preferences.

The earbuds also carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for sweaty workouts and unexpected rain showers. Their durability is further supported by SGS certification covering 26 rigorous durability tests.

HUAWEI Loss Care: Added Protection for Accidental Loss

Losing or damaging one earbud does not necessarily mean replacing the entire set. Every HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 MAX purchase comes with HUAWEI Loss Care, a one-time replacement benefit that takes effect upon device activation and remains valid for one year from the purchase date.

Under the service, users can purchase a single replacement earbud—left or right—at 50% off its original price if it is accidentally lost or damaged. Each replacement is guaranteed to be 100% genuine and comes with its own 90-day warranty.

To claim the benefit, users must present the remaining earbud, charging case, and valid proof of purchase at any HUAWEI Authorized Service Center or apply through Postal Repair.
