Dyson has unveiled a new generation of products built around advanced intelligence, marking a major shift from purely mechanical engineering toward machines that can see, think, and respond to their surroundings.

Speaking at the Dyson Unveiled event in Berlin, Chief Engineer Jake Dyson said the company is combining artificial intelligence, vision systems, and machine learning with its engineering expertise to create smarter machines designed to improve everyday experiences—from oral care and floor cleaning to hair styling and air purification.

Among the headline launches is the Dyson CameraJet, a connected toothbrush that combines brushing, targeted liquid flossing, and mouthwash dispensing. Developed over six years by 661 Dyson engineers, the device features a 100,000-pixel macro camera and Gap Optical Targeting technology, which uses machine learning to identify gaps between teeth in real time and deliver a precision burst of mouthrinse where needed. It processes 28 live images per second and has been trained on more than 470,000 dental images.

Dyson also introduced the new Nurovi robot range, featuring AI-powered cleaning technologies. The R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub UV uses UV light and AI vision to identify nearly 200 types of household substances, while the R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry uses Reuleaux triangle pads for improved corner cleaning. The R1 Nurovi Dry delivers up to 21,000 Pa of suction for hard floors and carpets.

The new W1 PencilWash adds a more absorbent roller, hygienic waste system, and dock-based self-cleaning while retaining its lightweight design.

Meanwhile, Dyson expanded its HushJet technology across its air purification range. Inspired by aerospace airflow principles, the technology is designed to deliver powerful, long-range air projection with reduced noise. The flagship HushJet Big+Quiet Cool Pure + Formaldehyde, Ioniser + UV combines a high-flow compressor, three-stage filtration, and UV sterilization to capture 99.999% of pollutants as small as 0.01 microns and help remove 99.9% of bacteria.

The new generation reflects Dyson’s growing focus on intelligent technology, combining sophisticated software and sensing systems with the engineering performance the brand is known for.
