More than a decade after Coron became the starting point for its hospitality vision, homegrown Filipino brand The Lind Hotels is returning to Palawan with the upcoming opening of The Lind Coron in 2027.
Coron was the company’s first property acquisition and where the concept behind The Lind Hotels began taking shape. The brand eventually launched in Boracay, establishing The Lind Boracay as an internationally recognized resort and the first hotel in Boracay to be included in the MICHELIN Guide. Now, the opening of The Lind Coron brings the company’s journey full circle.
“We have always believed in pioneering rather than following,” said Pierre Henrichs, Chief Operating Officer of The Lind Hotels. “Coron offers a rare combination of natural beauty and untapped potential. Our goal is not only to be part of its growth, but to help shape its future by bringing a new standard of hospitality to the destination.”
Set among limestone formations, turquoise waters, hidden lagoons, and rich marine life, The Lind Coron will feature 91 rooms and villas designed around privacy and time together. Select private villas will include dipping pools and personalized service from dedicated Villa Hosts.
The resort will also introduce a diverse culinary experience, led by Yím, its signature modern Thai restaurant, and Crust, located beside the infinity pool in the Main House. Crust will serve Mediterranean-inspired flavors alongside locally crafted beverages, with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the sea.
Wellness will take center stage at The Spa Wellness Coron, bringing the Philippines’ premier spa name to Palawan. The resort will also feature its own dive center, giving guests convenient access to vibrant reefs and World War II shipwrecks located near the property.
For celebrations and gatherings, The Gallery will accommodate up to 200 guests, while The Cove offers an outdoor setting. At the resort’s highest point, the Roof Deck will provide 360-degree views of the sea, mountains, and surrounding greenery.
“We aim to create a resort that belongs in its setting rather than competes with it,” Henrichs added.
Ahead of its 2027 opening, The Lind Hotels will participate in the Philippine Travel Mart from September 4 to 6, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
With The Lind Coron, a vision that began more than a decade ago is finally coming home to Coron—continuing the brand’s commitment to “Crafting Experiences, Creating Memories.”
