AirAsia MOVE (MOVE), Asia’s leading travel booking app, is expanding its platform capabilities and direct airline network with the addition of IndiGo, Air India, and US-Bangla Airlines. The move brings three of South Asia’s most in-demand carriers directly onto the app, strengthening MOVE’s growing ecosystem of global travel partners.
South Asia continues to experience strong travel demand, driven by tourism growth, business mobility, student travel, and visiting friends and relatives (VFR) traffic. Key routes connecting Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and other ASEAN hubs to major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Dhaka remain highly active as economic and cultural connections across the region continue to deepen.
For travelers, the expanded partnerships translate into greater choice, more competitive pricing, and a more seamless end-to-end booking experience. Users can now plan and manage multi-city journeys more easily within a single platform on the MOVE app.
“South Asia is one of the most exciting travel regions in the world, with vibrant cities, rich culture, and incredible food experiences waiting to be discovered,” said Nadia Omer, CEO of AirAsia MOVE. “We are thrilled to kick off 2026 by partnering directly with IndiGo, Air India, and US-Bangla Airlines to provide deeper route access and a more seamless booking experience—from flights and hotels to attractions—all within the MOVE app.”
She added that whether travelers are flying for business to Mumbai or Delhi, reconnecting with family in Dhaka, or exploring new destinations, MOVE aims to simplify cross-border travel and make it more convenient and accessible.
With these additions, IndiGo, Air India, and US-Bangla Airlines join more than 70 global carriers already partnered directly with MOVE. This expansion reinforces the platform’s strategy to become the region’s preferred online travel agency (OTA). In addition to direct airline integrations, MOVE also offers access to approximately 700 additional airlines through authorized suppliers.
Beyond flights, the app provides a comprehensive travel ecosystem that includes over one million hotels, airport transfers, duty-free shopping, travel insurance, and other travel services—all within a single platform.
