Samsung Electronics has officially announced its ranking as the world’s No. 1 TV brand for the 20th consecutive year, a milestone that cements two decades of dominance in the global television industry.

Having held the top position since 2006, Samsung’s leadership was further validated by 2025 market data from research firm Omdia. The company recorded a 29.1% share of the global TV market by revenue, reinforcing its stronghold across the premium, ultra-large, and next-generation display segments.

Unrivaled Dominance in the Premium Segment

Samsung’s “Premium-First” strategy continues to pay off, with the company commanding more than half of the high-end market:

  • Over $2,500 Segment: Samsung led with a dominant 54.3% market share, driven by Neo QLED, OLED, and lifestyle models.

  • Over $1,500 Segment: The company maintained a strong lead with a 52.2% market share.
