Manila, Philippines — ALT ART makes its highly anticipated return with a larger venue, expanded exhibitions, and an enriched lineup of public programs at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay from February 12 to 15, 2026. Public days will run from February 13 to 15, open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Organized by the ALT Collective and joined by nine of the country’s leading galleries—Artinformal, Blanc, The Drawing Room, Galleria Duemila, Finale Art File, MO_Space, Underground, Vinyl on Vinyl, and West Gallery—the fourth edition is set to be the largest yet. This year’s showcase features double the floor area of its 2024 iteration, with exhibition walls rising up to five meters high, allowing for more ambitious presentations and curated projects that deepen critical engagement with contemporary Philippine art.

Artinformal’s Tina Fernandez notes that ALT ART brings together diverse artistic voices in a cohesive manner, adding that the more accessible venue supports the collective’s goal of welcoming audiences from different walks of life to experience contemporary art.
The fair’s signature SPECIAL PROJECTS, presented individually by each gallery, will once again push conceptual boundaries. Featured works include those by Christina Quisumbing Ramilo, Buen Calubayan, Julie Lluch, Kiri Dalena, Ben Brixx, Raffy Napay, MM Yu, Kolown, Christina Lopez, Mauro “Malang” Santos, Lesley-Ann Cao, and Iwan Effendi.

Marking another milestone, ALT ART 2026 introduces the DISCOVERIES SECTION, spotlighting artists whose practices merit greater attention. Jay Amante of Blanc explains that the program encourages audiences to slow down and engage more deeply amid today’s fast-paced attention economy. Featured artists include JC Mariategue, Jomari T’leon, Joar Songcuya, Allyza Tresvalles, Eric Bico, Gelo Cinco, Joanolasco, Rhaz Oriente, and Marco Ortiga.
ALT ART 2026 continues its mission to promote Philippine art and amplify artistic voices for local and international audiences, collectors, and enthusiasts.
Tickets for public days are available onsite at PHP 500 for the general public and PHP 250 for students. For more information, visit www.altphilippines.com and follow @altphilippines on Instagram and Facebook.
