Globe took the spotlight at the International Design Conference (IDC) 2025, co-presenting a landmark initiative that bridges academic learning and industry innovation. In partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry’s Design Center, Globe reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment and digital transformation through education, celebrating both students and educators as pillars of the creative economy.
The conference brought together the country’s most promising design talents, with 76 top students from leading design schools joining an exclusive session hosted by Globe. The highlight of the event was a talk by Joe Pine, world-renowned author and speaker, who inspired participants to think beyond aesthetics and explore design’s role in creating transformative experiences.
In celebration of Teachers’ Month, Globe also honored the educators who guided these young creatives, emphasizing their indispensable role in shaping the next generation of Filipino innovators.
“This partnership reflects our belief that creativity thrives when students and educators are equally empowered,” said Jonathan Cristobal, Director of B2B Marketing at Globe. “Through Globe and DTI’s Design Center, this milestone event aims to build a future-ready education ecosystem where innovation, mentorship, and opportunity are accessible to all.”
Globe’s participation at IDC 2025 underscored its mission to future-proof education, connect emerging talent with global thought leaders, and strengthen support systems for educators. Moving forward, Globe plans to expand its work with the design community through innovation workshops, mentorship programs, and global creative network access—empowering every student and teacher to thrive in the digital era.
