The Philippines continues to make waves on the international tourism stage as it marked another successful participation at ITB Asia 2025, held from October 15 to 17 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. Through the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), the country showcased the warmth, diversity, and vibrancy of Filipino travel experiences to over 18,000 trade attendees and 1,500 quality buyers from around the world.

At the heart of the event stood a 171-square-meter Philippine pavilion, elegantly decorated with capiz shells and striking visuals of iconic destinations such as Cebu, Boracay, and Palawan. The booth drew a steady stream of visitors from the leisure, corporate, and MICE sectors, eager to explore what the country has to offer. A total of 23 accredited sellers, including destination management companies, hotels, resorts, and airlines, collectively secured 842 business appointments, generating over PHP 600 million in sales leads.
“The continued interest in Philippine tourism at ITB Asia reflects a growing global demand for authentic and meaningful travel experiences,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles. “Through these engagements, we continue to strengthen partnerships and expand our footprint across global markets.”
Among the notable visitors to the Philippine booth was Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo Macaraig, who expressed support for the country’s tourism initiatives. TPB officials also met with Palawan Governor Amy Roa Alvarez to discuss opportunities for broader international participation and promotion.

Beyond the booths and meetings, the Philippines spotlighted its diverse offerings — from diving and halal tourism to adventure, MICE, and beach travel — reinforcing the country’s position as a premier destination in the Asia-Pacific region.
