Manila is a unique and beloved place for Filipinos, offering a rich history, heritage, and culture that inspires creativity and imagination. The city’s fine arts, fashion, and entertainment in cinema and television reflect its rich heritage and culture. Plains & Prints Founder Roxanne Farillas believes that a campaign showcasing Manila’s importance can create interest in exploring the city and understanding its beauty, culture, and heritage. The collaboration with Manila local government agencies and Mark Nicdao aims to make a difference in understanding Manila from a different perspective, particularly for the younger generation. The brand’s commitment to Philippine culture and heritage is evident in its workmanship and sensibilities, showcasing the brand’s commitment to making a difference in the Philippines. The collaboration with Manila local government agencies and Mark Nicdao demonstrates the brand’s commitment to its Filipino roots.

Roxanne Farillas, a fashion designer, collaborated with a Portuguese couple who stayed in the Philippines for two weeks. They discovered that Manila was often overlooked in their travels, as they often flew to the islands. Farillas aimed to create a campaign that would encourage Balikbayans and other cultures to explore Manila and stay longer. The campaign was influenced by the creative mind of photographer Mark Nicdao, who drew inspiration from Manila’s rich history and excitement. Nicdao believes that Plains & Prints’ collaboration aims to stretch awareness and highlight the beauty and elegance of the city, which is a significant part of the Philippines’ greatness. The collection, released just in time for tourism month, aims to make Manila more accessible to visitors and encourage them to explore the city and its rich cultural heritage.

During his journey in Manila, Mark Nicdao explored Paco Park, Rizal Park, Metropolitan Theater, Clock Tower, Intramuros, and the National Museum where he captured the city’s gentler and glowing side. Even with a wash of rain, they continued to pursue the beauty of Manila, which proved even more breathtaking when they were blessed with a beautiful sunset at the tail end. “I think that’s the story behind it,” begins the acclaimed artist and photographer. “My favorite experience shooting the whole thing is really walking around. Exploring those places up close, trying to find something distinct to that location was really exciting. Walking around Manila and really seeing the sites and imagining them on the clothes was pretty amazing and unforgettable.”

“With this collection, we’re highlighting the beauty of Manila and trying to change people’s perspective, especially the younger generation,” adds Roxanne Farillas. “So, with this collaboration that we’re doing, it will actually create interest again for them to explore Manila and to understand the beauty of Manila, the culture, and the heritage. Manila being our capital, I think it’s just right that people, especially the younger generation, would understand and see Manila in a different light.”

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan is set to sign Plains & Prints as the first fashion brand collaboration in the city. The collaboration is part of a philanthropic effort to promote the city’s rich history and culture, with the goal of rediscovering more of the city through the partnership. The collaboration is centered around a collection that captures the city’s allure and cultural richness, while also contributing to the preservation of historical sites through an alliance with various Manila agencies. The goal is to promote the city’s beauty and cultural richness, ensuring that more of the city is rediscovered through this partnership.

Manila’s Paco and Rizal Park has partnered with fashion brand Plains & Prints to promote its rich heritage parks and sites. The partnership aims to inspire and connect with generations, particularly the youth, by highlighting the stories behind products. Consumers today are conscious about what they buy and want to know the stories behind a product. The Metropolitan Theater (MET) is also featured in the campaign, with patrons and the general public taking pride in the creativity and artistry that mark Filipino identity. Plains & Prints has enlisted Anne Curtis to bring the story of Manila through fashion to life, aiming to inspire and educate people about the city’s rich heritage and culture.

The PLAINS & PRINTS | MARK NICDAO| MANILA collection is a love letter to Manila, focusing on the city’s unparalleled beauty. The collection, which is a love letter to the city, aims to make people realize the rich culture and beauty of the country. Anne Curtis, an award-winning actress, is particularly proud of wearing iconic landmarks in Manila, such as Quintin and Adriatico, which have a unique “Maria Clara and barong vibe.” Plains & Prints aims to make people realize that Manila is still as beautiful as it was before, as seen in the pictures and clothes. The collection is designed to make people realize that Manila promises to never let go, and it becomes clear that at some point, we will always return home.
