Rising Kapamilya P-pop group WRIVE celebrated its first anniversary with a sold-out event titled “WRIVE: Unang Taon,” bringing together its loyal fanbase, known as Arrows, for an afternoon of music, games, and heartfelt moments.
The celebration marked a major milestone for the five-member group—Asi, Drei, Ishiro, Mathew, and Russu—as they reflected on their first year in the industry and expressed gratitude to the fans who have supported them since their debut.
“Reaching our first anniversary is an incredible milestone, and we owe it to every Arrow who has believed in and supported us from the very beginning,” the group said.
WRIVE opened the event with a performance of their pre-debut original song “Hollywood.” They followed it with an emotional rendition of “Panaginip Na Lang” before treating the audience to an energetic mash-up of their songs, with fans singing and cheering throughout the performance. Supporters from different parts of the Philippines and even overseas attended the event to celebrate with the group.
The anniversary program also highlighted the members’ versatility through special unit performances. Drei and Ishiro performed CxM’s “Worth It,” while Asi, Mathew, and Russu delivered a high-energy rendition of Parokya ni Edgar’s “Bagsakan,” earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.
During the group’s anniversary week, WRIVE also trended on X in the Philippines, driven by fans using the hashtags #WEARR1VENOW, #OohLaWRIVESAShowtime, and #WRIVEUnangTaonLIVE.
Managed by ABS-CBN’s Polaris-Star Magic, WRIVE debuted in July 2025 and released its self-titled debut album in January 2026. The album has since accumulated more than 730,000 all-time streams, reflecting the group’s growing fanbase and rising presence in the local P-pop scene.
Looking ahead, WRIVE is set to release a reimagined version of Gloc-9’s “Sumayaw Ka” this August. The group will also join the Star Magic All-Star Games on August 23 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where they are expected to perform alongside fellow Star Magic artists.
Fans can follow WRIVE’s official social media accounts on Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok for updates on upcoming releases and activities.
