Montblanc and Ferrari continue their creative partnership with the new Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Inedita Special Edition, bringing the experimental spirit of Ferrari’s Tailor Made Inedita design world into fine writing.
Following the Classica edition introduced in 2025, which celebrated timeless elegance and traditional materials, the new release takes a more avant-garde approach. Inspired by Ferrari Tailor Made’s Inedita design expression, the edition explores aesthetic individuality, pioneering materials, and the confidence to embrace new ideas.
Where Automotive Design Meets Fine Writing
Both Montblanc and Ferrari share a longstanding appreciation for craftsmanship, quality, and technological innovation. The Meisterstück fountain pen, first introduced in 1924, has become an enduring symbol of writing culture and sophistication. The new collaboration builds on that heritage while reflecting Ferrari’s experimental approach to personalization.
At the center of the design is Ferrari Tailor Made, Ferrari’s exclusive personalization programme that allows clients to create highly individualized vehicles. Within the programme, Inedita is distinguished by its unconventional use of high-tech and sartorial materials, including bold colors and fabrics inspired by fashion and interior design.
Developed in collaboration with the Ferrari Design Studio, the new writing instrument features a cap and barrel crafted from carbon fibre, a material celebrated in automotive engineering for its combination of high performance and light weight. Its textured surface contrasts with smooth black PVD-coated fittings for a distinctly modern finish.
Ferrari’s iconic Prancing Horse appears on the barrel as a filigree aluminium sticker, while the Montblanc emblem on the cap is presented in Azzurro Dino, a distinctive blue named after Enzo Ferrari’s son, Dino. The color recalls Ferrari’s racing heritage and the iconic Dino 246 introduced in 1969.
Completing the design is a handcrafted Au 750 gold, ruthenium-coated nib, featuring a special motif that combines the Montblanc emblem with a cross-hatched circle. Together, the details bring Montblanc’s writing heritage and Ferrari’s unmistakable design language into a collector’s piece defined by individuality, craftsmanship, and innovation.
