Following their successful Osaka tour in 2023, Filipino rock band The Itchyworms are returning to Japan this October for a three-city run across the Kansai region, bringing their music to Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe for three consecutive nights.

The tour opens on October 4 at Panhead Groove in Osaka, where the band will represent the Philippines at the Kansai Music Conference, an international music event connecting artists and audiences from around the world.

On October 5, The Itchyworms will perform at MUSE in Kyoto, sharing the stage with fellow Filipino singer-songwriter Reese Lansangan and Los Angeles-based artist Ariel. Presented by Pintig Productions, the show will bring together artists from different musical backgrounds for an evening of live performances.

The tour concludes on October 6 at Live Music Padoma in Kobe, marking The Itchyworms’ debut in the city. Reese Lansangan will join the band once again for another night of music presented by Pintig Productions.

A More Intimate Itchyworms Experience

Japan has become a regular destination for The Itchyworms, who aim to return at least once a year. After performing in Nagoya last year and Tokyo and Saitama the year before, the band continues to build connections with Japanese audiences. Future visits could bring them to other destinations, including Okinawa, Fukuoka, and possibly Hokkaido.

For this Kansai tour, however, the band is taking a more stripped-down approach. Moving away from elaborate production, the shows will focus on the essentials: the musicians, their instruments, and the songs that have defined their sound.

It is an opportunity for audiences to experience The Itchyworms in a more intimate setting, with the music taking center stage.

Three cities. Three nights. One very Itchy October.
