Soupstar Music celebrates a quarter-century in the Philippine music scene with a special partnership with global lifestyle brand New Era. The limited-edition cap, launched at Hideout Resto & Bar, Quezon City, reflects Soupstar Music’s enduring role in bridging music, street culture, and contemporary Filipino lifestyle.

The launch gathered the label’s vibrant community of artists, partners, and supporters, with live performances by Moonstar88 and HEY JUNE!, symbolizing a meeting point between Soupstar’s storied legacy and its future direction. Reflecting on the milestone, the team shared that longevity comes from embracing the journey as a series of challenging laps that foster growth, resilience, and purpose. “Reaching 25 years is a moment that deserves celebration, a testament to our hard work, passion, and dedication,” the label noted.
Soupstar Music’s yearlong anniversary festivities include Soupstar Night at 123 Block, the Soupstar Museum at Velvet Playground, and the flagship event 25 Years of Torete at Eton Centris. The collaboration with New Era stands as one of the celebration’s most distinctive highlights. CEO Darwin Hernandez shared, “I’ve always been a fan of New Era caps, and this collaboration was a natural idea that perfectly coincided with our 25th year.”
Additional anniversary events include Beyond Beats: An Eton Celebration of Music and Gratitude on November 5 and Eton City Thanksgiving on November 29, both headlined by Moonstar88, who also marks the 25th anniversary of their iconic hit Torete and gears up for new releases in 2026.
For 25 years, Soupstar Music has championed Original Pilipino Music (OPM), managing acts like 6cyclemind, Gracenote, HEY JUNE!, Imago, Moonstar88, Sandwich, and more, while producing concerts, tours, and corporate events. Hernandez emphasizes, “We’ll continue releasing music, managing artists, and providing quality support. We’re here to stay.”
