OPPO has officially revealed ColorOS 16, the latest version of its mobile operating system, launching alongside the upcoming Find X9 Series. The update introduces groundbreaking advancements in smoothness, intelligence, and cross-platform connectivity, setting a new global benchmark for OPPO users.

Building on ColorOS 15’s innovations, ColorOS 16 debuts Seamless Animation, powered by the All-New Luminous Rendering Engine and Trinity Engine. These technologies work together to deliver instant, fluid responses across the interface—from launching apps to multitasking—ensuring consistently smooth performance even under heavy workloads like gaming. Through Project Breeze, entry-level devices also gain optimizations for faster and more responsive operation.

Users can now personalize their devices with Motion Photo wallpapers, AI-suggested fonts, and a new full-screen Always-On Display (AOD) that transitions seamlessly into the lock screen. The new Flux Home Screen enables dynamic resizing of folders and icons, adapting the layout fluidly in real time.
AI-Powered Creativity
ColorOS 16 enhances creative tools with AI Portrait Glow, which improves low-light portraits with a single tap. It joins AI Eraser, AI Unblur, and AI Reflection Remover for effortless one-tap photo editing. The upgraded video editor, Master Cut, offers trimming, filters, and manual controls for professional-quality results.
Seamless Connectivity Across Ecosystems
Expanding on O+ Connect, ColorOS 16 now supports both Mac and Windows PCs for easy file management and remote access. Screen Mirroring allows up to five apps to be cast and controlled via mouse and keyboard, ideal for multitasking during work or study.
