Montblanc brings the timeless pleasure of handwriting into the digital era with the Montblanc Digital Paper, extending the Maison’s mastery of writing culture to a fully digital ecosystem. Developed and tested at Montblanc’s Hamburg headquarters, the device preserves the immersive, reflective, and tactile experience of traditional writing while enabling boundless digital collaboration.

“Handwriting offers a more emotionally rich experience than typing. With the Montblanc Digital Paper, we retain all the special qualities of writing by hand, while embracing the limitless possibilities of digital tools,” says Felix Obschonka, Montblanc Director of New Technologies.
Central to the experience is the Montblanc Digital Pen, modeled after the iconic Meisterstück. Featuring the signature three metal rings and Montblanc emblem, the pen comes with three interchangeable tips that emulate different paper textures. Paired with the Digital Paper’s high-resolution electronic ink display, it delivers a realistic, haptic feel that faithfully mirrors writing with a traditional Montblanc instrument.
Beyond its tactile excellence, the device is equipped with smart features for creativity, productivity, and organization. Users can take notes, annotate presentations, or edit e-books and documents—all searchable via handwriting recognition. Templates for planners, journals, and calendars make structuring ideas effortless, while seamless sharing via Montblanc Cloud, USB-C, or email ensures efficient collaboration.

Luxury design completes the experience. The Montblanc Digital Paper features a lightweight metal case in Mystery Black, Elixir Gold, and Cool Grey, accented with a calf leather sidebar debossed with the Montblanc emblem. Optional customizable smart leather covers are also available.
Montblanc Digital Paper is available at Rustans Makati, Rustans Shangri-La, Rustan’s Cebu, Greenbelt 5, and Solaire Resort Entertainment City.
