HUAWEI is expanding its tablet lineup with the new HUAWEI MatePad Air, combining a large immersive display, AI-powered productivity tools, and powerful performance in an ultra-thin and lightweight design.
The tablet features a 12-inch 2.8K Ultra-clear OLED display with PaperMatte technology, offering vibrant colors and detailed visuals while reducing glare and reflections. Its slim 4.69mm bezel creates a spacious viewing area for documents, creative projects, and entertainment, while the paper-like display is designed for a more comfortable viewing and writing experience.
Built for modern work and creativity, the MatePad Air offers a 4-in-1 AI-powered productivity experience through upgraded PC-Level WPS Office, HUAWEI Notes, and GoPaint. WPS AI supports document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations, while HUAWEI Notes can enhance handwritten notes, convert speech to text, organize discussions, and solve mathematical equations. Meanwhile, the AI-powered GoPaint app provides creative tools for digital artists, including features that help users work with colors more precisely.
The HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro adds a more natural writing and drawing experience and can also function as an Air Mouse for browsing and navigating files. Paired with the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard, the tablet can also serve as a portable workstation. Both accessories use NearLink Technology for faster, more stable connections with lower latency.
Despite measuring just 5.3mm thin and weighing 509g, the MatePad Air packs a 10,100mAh battery that supports up to 18 hours of HDR video playback. Its 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo can replenish the battery in as little as 30 minutes. The device also offers up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, with up to 8GB of additional virtual memory.
The HUAWEI MatePad Air launches in the Philippines this September. Starting September 7, shoppers can get vouchers worth up to ₱5,000 on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. Early access through the HUAWEI Online Store is also available with a ₱500 deposit and ₱7,000 off the remaining balance.
