Student leaders from across the Philippines gathered on June 20 as Globe and Disney hosted simultaneous screenings of Toy Story 5 in Clark, Bonifacio Global City, Dasmariñas, and Cebu City, bringing together campus leaders for a day centered on collaboration, community, and shared experiences.

The exclusive block screenings welcomed students invited through their schools and organizations, transforming cinemas into spaces where young leaders could connect, exchange ideas, and build relationships with peers from different campuses.

The initiative highlighted the importance of community as students navigate the academic, social, and economic challenges of campus life.

The event is part of Globe and Disney’s ongoing collaboration, which uses storytelling to inspire resilience, courage, and purpose among young audiences. Through stories of characters overcoming challenges, the partnership encourages students to pursue their goals while creating meaningful impact within their communities.

Aside from the movie screening, attendees participated in raffle activities featuring exclusive merchandise and learned about student-focused offers available through the GlobeOne app. These included Globe Rewards perks such as beep™ card load, food and beverage rewards, coffee credits, and free Timezone load.

Globe also highlighted its Globe Student Program, an initiative that allows student organizations to pitch projects addressing real needs within their campuses and communities. The program aims to help students transform ideas into actionable initiatives while providing access to opportunities and resources that can expand their impact.

“The most powerful ideas often start within communities. Through the Globe Student Program, we want to give student leaders opportunities to collaborate, pursue initiatives they care about, and create impact that extends beyond their campuses,” said Roche Vandenberghe, Globe Consumer Chief Marketing Officer.

By combining storytelling, technology, and youth engagement, Globe continues to create opportunities for students to connect, collaborate, and develop projects that contribute to their communities.
