FWD Life Insurance (FWD Philippines) has maintained its position as the country’s No. 1 life insurer in terms of New Business Annual Premium Equivalent (NBAPE) for the second quarter of 2026, according to a report from the Insurance Commission (IC).
FWD recorded ₱5.26 billion in NBAPE, marking a 23.5% increase from the same period last year and giving the company a 12.2% market share. It also retained the top spot in single premiums and ranked third in total premiums, highlighting continued momentum across its business.
“Remaining number one means much more than leading the market,” said Soon Liang Lau, President and Chief Executive Officer of FWD Philippines. “It reflects the trust our customers place in us every day to help them protect what matters most.”
