The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to stage the second edition of the DTI Wedding Fair on June 26 to 28, 2026, at SMX Aura Premier Convention Center in Taguig City, bringing together Filipino creativity, entrepreneurship, and craftsmanship in the weddings and events sector.

Following a successful inaugural run, the three-day event will once again serve as a major platform for over 100 Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Participants will showcase a wide range of wedding-related products and services, creating business opportunities while highlighting the strength of local industries.

Conceptualized under the leadership of DTI Secretary Ma. Cristina A. Roque, together with ASec. Nylah Bautista of the Competitiveness and Innovation Group, the fair recognizes the wedding industry as a dynamic and growing sector. The initiative aims to help Filipino entrepreneurs expand their reach, connect with new markets, and highlight their creativity through life-celebrating products and services.

The event brings together a complete ecosystem of wedding suppliers under one roof, including bridal fashion, event styling, catering, photography, floral design, travel services, stationery, music, and production. This allows couples and event organizers to plan their celebrations in one destination while supporting local businesses.

Last year’s edition featured bridal runway showcases, interactive exhibits, and talks that highlighted Filipino design innovation, sustainable practices, and cultural storytelling in weddings. These elements demonstrated how local artistry can transform personal celebrations into meaningful expressions of heritage and identity.

The 2026 edition continues this mission by encouraging couples to incorporate Filipino craftsmanship into their special day, while directly supporting homegrown enterprises.

Beyond wedding suppliers, the fair will also highlight DTI programs supporting MSME growth. This includes the DTI B2B Marketplace, a free digital platform connecting local suppliers with domestic and international buyers, and the Malikhaing Pinoy platform, which promotes creatives and strengthens the country’s creative economy through e-commerce opportunities.

Whether planning a wedding or exploring Filipino-made services, visitors are invited to experience the DTI Wedding Fair 2026 and discover how local talent can elevate every celebration.

The event is free and open to the public.
