The Designers’ Holiday Bazaar (DHB), the Philippines’ pioneering holiday marketplace, marks its 13th year with an exciting expansion across multiple cities. Founded by Bea Zobel and Beatriz Zobel Jr., DHB has evolved from a curated Christmas market into one of the country’s most anticipated holiday traditions—championing exceptional Filipino craftsmanship, design, and entrepreneurship while continuing to support meaningful social causes.

This year, DHB embraces the theme “Sinag” (Ray of Light), symbolizing inspiration that shines from the nation’s rich heritage and the brilliance of emerging local talent. DHB 2026 opens wider opportunities for exhibitors to present their creations and invites an even broader audience to explore thoughtfully designed pieces across fashion, food, home, wellness, and lifestyle.

“DHB has always been rooted in the belief that Filipino creativity deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported,” shares Bea Zobel Jr., curator and co-founder. “As we expand into more communities this year, we hope to create greater opportunities for local artisans and entrepreneurs to thrive. Every purchase made at DHB helps sustain small businesses and supports the next generation of creative talent.”

Celebrating Filipino Creativity

Rooted in heritage yet designed for a global audience, DHB presents a carefully curated selection of Filipino craftsmanship—from contemporary fashion pieces to artisanal home accents. Visitors can discover distinctive finds that inspire joy, spark pride, and reflect a shared cultural identity.

For its 2026 edition, DHB will bring its curated holiday marketplace to three key destinations across the country:

Ayala Malls Abreeza, Davao City (September 3–6, 2026)

Making its debut in Davao, DHB opens with a meaningful cultural showcase highlighting Southern artistry. The event features local weavers, contemporary Mindanaoan designs, and tropical home goods that blend regional heritage with modern Filipino aesthetics.

TriNoma, Quezon City (October 14–18, 2026)

In Quezon City, DHB celebrates the capital’s dynamic creative landscape. The curated space reflects a vibrant mix of young innovators and deep Filipino-Chinese cultural influences. Visitors can explore sustainable lifestyle pieces, modern streetwear, and artisanal food offerings designed for a wide range of tastes.

Glorietta and Ayala Museum (November 27–December 6, 2026)

A defining moment for Filipino design, DHB partners with the Ayala Foundation for its 65th anniversary in a flagship exhibition. This final stop highlights world-class Filipino craftsmanship, blending elevated design with meaningful social impact—an experience dedicated to those who value excellence in local artistry.

Shopping with Purpose

For over a decade, DHB has gone beyond retail by creating lasting social impact through its charitable programs and community partnerships.

Its scholarship initiative, in partnership with the Ayala Foundation, has enabled students to complete their education from junior high school through college. Since 2024, the program has produced eight college graduates, while 18 scholars continue their academic journeys today. With continued community support, a new CENTEX graduate will also join the program, further extending its educational impact.

In addition, the STEPS Scholarship Foundation has trained young classical dancers who have performed with internationally recognized companies such as Ballet Manila, Alice Reyes Dance Philippines, Alberta Ballet, and the American Ballet Theatre. To date, the initiative has supported more than 58 dance scholars from Bauan, Batangas, and Manila.

“One of the most rewarding things about DHB is seeing how many lives are touched through this platform,” says Sofia Zobel Elizalde, curator and co-founder. “When people choose to shop local, they are supporting not just artisans and entrepreneurs, but entire communities of makers, families, and beneficiaries. That shared purpose continues to inspire us every year.”

A More Immersive Holiday Experience

DHB 2026 transforms its venues into an immersive sensory journey designed to delight visitors at every turn. The experience will feature a festive lineup of performances, activities, and special activations that bring people together throughout the holiday season.

A refined holiday soundscape will set the tone, with curated playlists filling the space with warm, nostalgic energy. The atmosphere will be elevated further through live artistic performances, including choral ensembles that capture the spirit of a traditional Filipino Christmas, classical ballet excerpts, and live musical sets from local artists and virtuosos.

Partners in Innovation and Connectivity

This year’s exhibition is made possible through the support of leading digital and financial institutions, each contributing to a seamless and enhanced visitor experience.

Globe serves as the official connectivity partner, ensuring reliable high-speed internet across all venues. GCash powers cashless transactions as the primary digital payment platform through QRPH-enabled services, offering secure and convenient payments. Meanwhile, BPI provides trusted credit card processing solutions, enabling flexible and secure financial transactions for guests and merchants.

A Celebration of Filipino Excellence

The Designers’ Holiday Bazaar remains an invitation to experience the finest of Filipino craftsmanship—where shopping becomes an act of purpose and cultural appreciation. More than a marketplace, DHB serves as a catalyst for community transformation, uplifting artisans, preserving heritage, and inspiring future generations.

This unique blend of artistry and advocacy is what makes DHB a meaningful part of the holiday season year after year.

Whether discovering emerging brands, finding thoughtful gifts, or simply celebrating the festive spirit, visitors can look forward to experiencing the very best of Filipino creativity at the Designers’ Holiday Bazaar 2026.
