Filipino creativity takes center stage as the Designers’ Holiday Bazaar (DHB) returns for its 13th year with its biggest edition yet, expanding beyond Metro Manila to bring its signature curated shopping experience to three cities across the country.
Founded by Bea Zobel and Beatriz Zobel Jr., the annual holiday marketplace has evolved from a Christmas shopping destination into one of the country’s premier platforms for Filipino artisans, designers, and entrepreneurs. This year’s edition embraces the theme “Sinag” (Ray of Light), celebrating the inspiration drawn from the country’s rich cultural heritage and the creativity of emerging local talent.
With stops in Davao City, Quezon City, and Makati, DHB 2026 aims to connect more shoppers with thoughtfully crafted Filipino products while creating greater opportunities for local businesses to grow.
“DHB has always been rooted in the belief that Filipino creativity deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported,” said Bea Zobel Jr., curator and co-founder. “As we grow into more communities this year, we hope to create even more opportunities for local artisans and entrepreneurs to thrive. Every purchase made at DHB helps sustain small businesses and support the next generation of creative talent.”
Three destinations, one celebration of Filipino craftsmanship
The nationwide holiday tour begins at Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao City from September 3 to 6, marking DHB’s first appearance in Mindanao. The inaugural leg will highlight Southern Philippine artistry through local weaving traditions, contemporary Mindanao-inspired fashion, and handcrafted home décor that reflects the region’s rich cultural heritage.
The celebration continues at TriNoma in Quezon City from October 14 to 18, showcasing a curated selection of local streetwear, eco-conscious lifestyle brands, artisanal food products, and creative enterprises that reflect the city’s vibrant and evolving design scene.
The flagship event returns to Glorietta and Ayala Museum from November 27 to December 6, where DHB will partner with the Ayala Foundation in celebration of its 65th anniversary. The expanded showcase will feature Filipino craftsmanship across fashion, home, wellness, food, and lifestyle while highlighting the intersection of design excellence and community impact.
Shopping that creates lasting impact
Beyond promoting local craftsmanship, DHB continues its long-standing commitment to education and the arts through its charitable initiatives.
In partnership with the Ayala Foundation, the bazaar’s scholarship program has enabled students to complete their education from junior high school through college. Since 2024, the initiative has celebrated eight college graduates and currently supports 18 scholars, with another CENTEX graduate set to join the program this year.
DHB also continues to support the STEPS Scholarship Foundation, which has provided dance education to more than 58 scholars from Bauan, Batangas and Manila. Several beneficiaries have gone on to perform with renowned companies including Ballet Manila, Alice Reyes Dance Philippines, Alberta Ballet, and the American Ballet Theatre.
“One of the most rewarding things about DHB is seeing how many lives are touched through this platform,” said Sofia Zobel Elizalde, curator and co-founder. “When people choose to shop local, they are not only supporting talented artisans and entrepreneurs—they are contributing to a larger community of makers, families, and beneficiaries.”
More than a shopping destination
This year’s bazaar also promises a more immersive holiday experience with curated music, live choral performances, ballet presentations, and musical showcases designed to transform each venue into a festive celebration of Filipino culture and creativity.
The event is supported by Globe as its official connectivity partner, GCash as its primary digital payment platform, and BPI as its official credit card payment partner, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for visitors.
More than a marketplace, the Designers’ Holiday Bazaar continues to serve as a platform that celebrates Filipino craftsmanship while creating meaningful opportunities for local communities. Whether searching for unique holiday gifts, discovering emerging brands, or supporting homegrown entrepreneurs, shoppers can once again experience the best of Filipino creativity throughout the 2026 holiday season.
