ASUS Business Philippines is expanding its regional presence with the launch of the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra in Cebu and Davao, bringing its latest business-grade technology closer to executives, entrepreneurs, and IT decision-makers in the country’s key regional business hubs.
Following its Manila debut on July 1, 2026, the flagship laptop made its regional debut at NUSTAR Resort Cebu on September 7 and 8, followed by Dusit D2 Davao on September 11. The two launches drew more than 1,000 attendees combined, highlighting ASUS Business Philippines’ efforts to expand access to AI-powered business technology beyond Metro Manila.
Bringing Business Technology Closer to the Regions
The regional launch series reflects ASUS Business Philippines’ push to make its latest devices and enterprise technology more accessible to businesses across the Visayas and Mindanao.
The Cebu leg welcomed more than 600 attendees and was hosted by veteran broadcast journalist and ASUS Business Brand Ambassador Rico Hizon, alongside co-host Andi Pateña-Mateu. The event also featured a special performance by Jacky Chang.
The tour then moved to Davao, where more than 500 attendees gathered at Dusit D2 for the regional finale. Hosted by Claire Lara, the event featured a performance by Aila Santos.
Both launches began with an Expert Class Forum, which included sales training, a product showcase, and a preview of the ASUS Business product roadmap and upcoming programs. The Grand Launch that followed featured live durability demonstrations, local dance performances, and a Gala Night that brought together business leaders for networking and celebration.
Rico Hizon Takes the Stage
The Cebu launch also featured Hizon in his role as ASUS Business Philippines Brand Ambassador and event host. With 38 years of experience as a broadcast journalist and business consultant, Hizon has covered major business stories around the world.
He also appeared alongside fellow ASUS Business ambassador Gabbi Garcia in a “Murphy’s Law” video highlighting the ExpertBook Ultra’s durability. The demonstration puts the laptop through a series of unexpected challenges inspired by the familiar idea that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
