Kapamilya singer-songwriter Angela Ken is set to take fans on a musical journey of exploration through her first-ever solo concert, “Panahon na Natin,” happening on October 18 at the New Frontier Theater.
Directed by John Prats, the concert promises to showcase a fresh and more personal side of Angela’s artistry. Inspired by her “Panahon” EP, the singer said the show will reflect the different stages, emotions, and experiences that have shaped her music over the years.
“I am bringing the element of exploration,” Angela shared, explaining that she returned to the creative roots of the EP after exploring different musical directions since the release of “Ako Naman Muna” six years ago.
The intimate concert is also dedicated to her supporters, whom she fondly calls Angels. Angela hopes each set, performance, and guest appearance will carry a deeper message while creating a sense of connection between her and the audience.
Fans can expect live performances of songs from the “Panahon” EP, released under Tarsier Records, including “simula ngayon,” “kahapon,” “Pwede Bang Mamaya?” and “baka bukas.” The songs explore themes of growth, love, longing, happiness, and hope across different moments in life.
Adding to the excitement, Angela will also perform “tayo lang,” the first song she wrote back in 2018. After years of changes and refinements, the track will finally be released in full on music streaming platforms on September 25.
Tickets to “Angela Ken: Panahon na Natin” are available through TicketNet outlets and Ticketnet.com.ph. Fans can also follow Tarsier Records and ABS-CBN PR’s official channels for updates.
