South Korean solo artist Yves continues to push creative boundaries with the release of two new singles, “Hysteric” and “Adam,” offering another glimpse into her evolving sound ahead of her fifth EP, CUTE & ANXIETY, arriving November 20.
The double release showcases two sides of Yves’ distinctive musical identity. “Hysteric” moves through a dark, seductive deep-house groove, driven by a looping, distorted bassline. Her vocals shift from airy humming to an intimate confession, capturing the feeling of losing control. The song’s recurring title becomes almost mantra-like, reflecting a thought that refuses to fade.
“Adam” follows as the emotional afterimage of its companion track, extending the atmosphere and introspective mood of the release.
Exploring The Space Between Cuteness And Anxiety
The two singles will appear on CUTE & ANXIETY, a five-track EP that explores the contrasting emotions and experiences that shape Yves’ artistic identity. Moving between complex feelings, the record examines the blurred boundaries between cuteness and anxiety, as well as the moments that exist in between.
The EP features five tracks: “Too Much” featuring Chilean artist AKRIILA, “Polaroid,” “Hysteric,” “Bat,” and “Adam.” It follows her previous release, NAIL, which featured collaborations with Lexie Liu and Lolo Zouaï.
Bringing Her Music To Asia And Australia
Following a successful 2026 headline tour across Europe, North America, and South America, Yves is preparing to bring her music to audiences across Asia and Australia.
The upcoming tour begins in Hong Kong on November 1, followed by stops in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Manila. She will then perform in Tokyo before heading to Melbourne and Sydney, where the tour concludes on November 17.
Her Manila show is scheduled for November 9 at The Filinvest Tent, giving Filipino fans an opportunity to experience her evolving sound live.
