Vena Energy has been recognized as an “Outstanding Stakeholder” by the Department of Education (DepEd), Schools Division of Calbayog City, for its contributions to education and community development.
The recognition was presented during the annual Stakeholders Summit at the Calbayog City Convention Center, which brought together educational leaders, local government representatives, and private-sector partners to celebrate collaborations supporting education in the region.
Vena Energy was recognized for its “invaluable support, meaningful partnership, and significant contributions to advancing education and strengthening stakeholder engagement in Calbayog City.” The company’s contributions include initiatives carried out through its subsidiary, Gemini Wind Energy Corp. (GWEC), which has supported the local education community.
Marivic Acuyong, CSR Manager at Vena Energy, and Falconeri Miranda, Project Manager at GWEC, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
