After years of exploring sound, identity, ambition, and different creative directions, James Reid enters a more grounded chapter with his third studio album, “Honey, I’m Home,” released under Sony Music Entertainment.

Rather than treating home as a physical destination, the 10-track album explores home as a feeling—the comfort of being fully present, accepting who you are, and finding peace with the people you choose to share your life with.

“I think home isn’t a place you eventually arrive at. It’s that feeling of being completely present and comfortable with where you are, who you are, and who you’re with,” Reid shared.

That perspective shapes the album’s exploration of romance, vulnerability, intimacy, surrender, and connection. Instead of elaborate lyrics, Reid leans into conversational and honest songwriting, creating songs that feel warm and effortless while carrying deeper emotions underneath.

Sonically, Honey, I’m Home draws from Reid’s love for R&B and soul, while incorporating elements of funk, soft rock, yacht rock, and classic pop. Working closely with producer Luke April, Reid embraced organic textures and subtle imperfections, allowing the music to retain the feel and movement of a live performance.

The album also marks Reid’s most collaborative project to date, featuring Arthur Nery, Luke April, and ISSA. Nery lends his R&B vocals to “All Night,” April contributes to the carefree “Sunny Side,” while ISSA brings a sultry contrast to “On My Way.”

One of the album’s most personal tracks is “Indiana,” which reflects Reid’s experience of becoming a future father. The song captures the anticipation and unconditional love he already feels for his child, reinforcing the album’s central idea of finding home in the people and moments that matter most.

The album features “Honey I’m Home (Intro),” “Attention,” “All Night,” “Traffic,” “Sunny Side,” “Blessed,” “Indiana,” “Richest Man Alive,” “On My Way,” and “Unbecoming.”

“I think this is probably the most comfortable I’ve ever sounded in my music,” Reid said.

“Honey, I’m Home” is now available worldwide on all major digital music platforms via Sony Music Entertainment.
