Acer marked two major milestones in 2026 with the 10th anniversary of Acer Day and the company’s 50th year as a technology brand, bringing the celebration to life with a high-energy concert at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila.
More than 8,500 Acer fans gathered for the musical celebration, headlined by Acer ambassadors SB19. The lineup also featured 6cyclemind, Hey June!, El Manu, Jessy Kang, Dionela, Fitterkarma, and Earl Agustin, while surprise appearances from Janine Berdin and Jose Mari Chan added memorable moments to the evening. Chan delighted the crowd with his holiday classic, “Christmas in Our Hearts,” while host Luis Manzano kept the celebration going throughout the night.
This year’s Acer Day carried the theme #ShiftTheGame, encouraging young people to move beyond their comfort zones, take ownership of their futures, and embrace new approaches to culture, work, and play.
The celebration also reflected Acer’s growing presence beyond traditional technology, incorporating fitness activities and highlighting lifestyle offerings such as Acerpure home appliances and the brand’s new line of luggage.
“Acer is constantly evolving to stay relevant to what our customers are passionate about, and that’s reflected in how Acer Day has grown to include both music and fitness,” said Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines. “As we mark 50 years as a brand and 10 years of Acer Day, we wanted this celebration to be bigger and more meaningful than ever.”
The festivities began earlier in the month with the Acer Electric AI Night Run on August 1 and will continue through September 13, when Acer hosts the Music Run, billed as “Asia’s Fittest Party,” at the SM MOA Complex.
Founded in 1976, Acer has grown into a global technology company with a presence in more than 160 countries, continuing to expand its portfolio across technology and lifestyle products while pursuing sustainable growth.
