Panda Express celebrated Happy Orange Chicken Day by bringing fans together for a fun-filled celebration dedicated to one of its most iconic and best-selling dishes.

Known as the Home of the Original Orange Chicken in the Philippines, Panda Express continues to delight diners with its signature Original Orange Chicken®. First introduced in 1987, the dish helped redefine American Chinese cuisine with its crispy chicken tossed in a sweet, tangy, and mildly spicy orange sauce.

For many fans, Original Orange Chicken has become a favorite go-to meal, whether enjoyed with family and friends or as a personal treat.

Adding more heat to the celebration is Hot Orange Chicken, which made its “swicy” comeback on July 15. Featuring six times more crushed chilies and scorched dried chilies, the fiery variation offers a bolder take on the classic for spice lovers.

This year’s celebration also featured an immersive Orange Chicken Kitchen experience at Panda Express SM Megamall. The All-Out Orange setup included eye-catching window decals, a claw machine, and a giant takeout pail perfect for photos. Fans also joined the playful Team OG vs. Team Spicy showdown, choosing between Original Orange Chicken and Hot Orange Chicken.

Orange Chicken lovers can also enjoy 10% off with a minimum spend of ₱699 on GrabFood, giving fans another reason to share their favorite dish with loved ones.

From casual cravings to meals shared on special occasions, Orange Chicken continues to bring familiar flavors and a little extra joy to every dining experience.
