AscentHR has strengthened its regional presence following the acquisition of APAC-focused payroll outsourcing provider OS HRS, a move that expands its payroll, HR technology, compliance, and workforce solutions across Asia-Pacific while enhancing support for businesses in the Philippines.
The acquisition covers 100% of the equity share capital of OS-HRS Malaysia, OS-HRS Japan, and OS-HRS India from BREXA Inc. (formerly Outsourcing Inc.) through a single-stage transaction. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The integration adds more than 140 payroll and HR professionals to AscentHR’s regional workforce, extending its footprint across Japan, China, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, and India. It also introduces new regional delivery hubs in Malaysia and Japan, complementing the company’s existing operations.
For businesses operating in the Philippines, the expanded network is expected to simplify cross-border payroll management while helping multinational companies navigate local tax and statutory compliance. Philippine-based enterprises planning regional expansion can also benefit from working with a single provider for payroll and workforce services across multiple markets.
“This marks an important milestone in AscentHR’s vision of building a leading regional payroll and workforce solutions platform. The Philippines continues to be an important market within our regional strategy,” said Subramanyam Sreenivasaiah, Founder and CEO of AscentHR.
“With OS HRS becoming part of AscentHR, we are combining trusted local expertise with broader regional capabilities, enabling us to deliver greater value to customers while creating new opportunities for our employees. We look forward to supporting organizations in the Philippines with a stronger regional delivery network,” he added.
While ensuring uninterrupted service for existing customers remains the company’s immediate priority, AscentHR said the combined organization will gradually introduce a broader suite of services, including advanced HR technology, payroll solutions, compliance support, and workforce management capabilities across its markets, including the Philippines.
The expanded platform will also leverage the company’s investments in artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, and information security to support future technology enhancements for businesses.
Through its unified regional delivery model, AscentHR will provide organizations with localized compliance expertise, enterprise HR technology integration, faster implementation of regional payroll programs, and customer support with native-language assistance across multiple jurisdictions.
The company said the integration will be carried out in phases to ensure a seamless transition for customers, employees, and partners throughout the region.
Looking ahead, AscentHR aims to further strengthen its regional network, enabling Philippine-headquartered companies to expand across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East while maintaining compliance through a single regional payroll and workforce solutions partner.
