Financing firm expands support for growing businesses with loans of up to ₱100 million
Asialink Finance Corporation (AFC) is marking its 29th anniversary with the launch of a new Medium Enterprise Loan program, reinforcing its commitment to helping Filipino businesses gain access to financing for growth and expansion.
Established in 1997, AFC has grown from a single office into a nationwide financial institution with more than 255 branches as of March 2026, serving over 47,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and individual clients across the Philippines.
The company said its loan portfolio grew by 35% from 2024 to April 2026, while cumulative loan releases have reached ₱37 billion, reflecting its continued role in expanding access to credit for entrepreneurs nationwide.
“As we celebrate our 29th anniversary, we remain deeply grateful to our clients, employees, partners, and stakeholders who have been part of our journey,” said Anna Katrina C. Bañez, president and CEO of AFC. “Our growth over the years reflects the trust that Filipino entrepreneurs have placed in us and reinforces our commitment to helping them achieve their business aspirations.”
Launched on June 1, 2026, the Medium Enterprise Loan program is designed to address financing challenges faced by medium-sized businesses, which often encounter strict lending requirements and lengthy credit evaluation processes despite their significant contribution to economic growth and job creation.
The program offers qualified enterprises loans of up to ₱100 million with repayment terms of up to seven years, providing funding for business expansion, working capital, and other strategic initiatives. The facility is available through AFC’s nationwide branch network and partner channels.
The launch builds on AFC’s broader financial inclusion initiatives, including the Women’s Access to Inclusive Support (WAIS) Loan, introduced in July 2025 to help address financing gaps among women entrepreneurs.
As of April 2026, the WAIS Loan program has supported more than 6,000 women-led MSMEs and disbursed approximately ₱3 billion in financing.
Beyond expanding its loan portfolio, AFC said it continues to invest in programs that promote entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and economic development in communities across the country.
“Our journey has always been about empowering people and businesses to move forward,” Bañez said. “As we look towards our 30th year and beyond, we will continue building on this foundation of service and trust, ensuring that more Filipino entrepreneurs have access to the financial support they need to succeed.”
