According to the report, FedEx generated $126 billion in direct and indirect contributions to the global economy in FY25 — a scale 1.6 times greater than the average direct output of companies with more than 100,000 employees. President and CEO Raj Subramaniam emphasized that FedEx’s culture of innovation and commitment to service has allowed the company to support global trade even amid shifting supply chains.

FedEx has been expanding its operations in Asia Pacific for more than 40 years, connecting 43 markets and employing tens of thousands of team members. In FY25, the company contributed $5.7 billion in combined direct and indirect economic impact to the region, including $1.6 billion indirectly to the broader APAC economy.

“Asia Pacific is one of the world’s most dynamic economic engines,” said Salil Chari, Senior Vice President for Marketing and Customer Experience. “From small e-commerce sellers to global manufacturers, our customers rely on FedEx to keep pace with an evolving global economy.”

In the Philippines, Managing Director Maribeth Espinosa noted how reliable logistics enable local SMEs and manufacturers to compete globally, adding that FedEx investments in digital tools and infrastructure continue to strengthen Filipino business connectivity.

FedEx operates the world’s largest express transportation network, delivering 17 million packages daily across 220 countries and territories. Key highlights from FY25 include expanded flight routes across APAC, increased support for small and medium businesses — which make up 90% of its 100,000 global suppliers — and new AI-driven digital tools that streamline customs and supply chain processes.

Sustainability progress also continued, with expanded electric vehicle fleets, new solar-powered facilities in Asia, and the use of more than 3 million gallons of sustainable aviation fuel in the U.S.

FedEx Cares further strengthened community impact, contributing $55.5 million to nonprofit initiatives and completing over 81,000 volunteer hours worldwide.
