For generations, the sound of whistles in local gyms and the sight of green jerseys have marked the start of summer for Filipino families. This year, MILO® Philippines is evolving that familiar tradition by combining its expansive network of on-ground sports clinics with a new digital platform, HomeCourt—making training more accessible than ever.

Expanding Access to Sports Through Digital Innovation

With over 1,200 MILO® Summer Sports Clinics nationwide, the program has long served as a cornerstone of grassroots sports development. Now, through HomeCourt, MILO® is extending that reach beyond physical venues, allowing young athletes to train anytime and anywhere.

By bridging physical and digital training, the platform opens opportunities for children who may not have easy access to in-person coaching, effectively democratizing access to sports development across the country.

A Legacy of Grassroots Development

MILO® has played a defining role in shaping Filipino sports culture, with its summer clinics becoming a rite of passage for many. The program has also contributed to the early development of top athletes, including tennis standout Alex Eala.

“MILO® is synonymous with the Filipino summer. It is the window when kids move from the classroom to the court, the pool, or the mat to discover their potential,” said Carlo Sampan, Head of Sports at MILO® Philippines.

With over 40 sporting disciplines offered, the program continues to provide children with diverse pathways to explore and develop their athletic interests.

Building More Than Athletes

Beyond physical training, MILO® emphasizes values formation as a core part of its program. The initiative focuses on three key pillars: grit, discipline, and teamwork—qualities that extend beyond sports and into everyday life.

“We aren’t just teaching kids how to score a goal or stick a landing,” Sampan added. “We are educating them on how to show up, respect teammates, and build resilience.”

Turning Screen Time into Active Time

The integration of HomeCourt reflects a shift in how children engage with sports in a digital-first world. By transforming screen time into active learning, the platform offers guided training experiences that complement traditional coaching.

This hybrid approach ensures that more families—regardless of location—can take part in structured sports development.

Building a “Village of Champions”

Through its ongoing #MyMILOStory campaign, MILO® aims to collect three million stories nationwide, celebrating personal journeys shaped by sports. Filipinos are encouraged to share their experiences on social media, highlighting how sports have influenced their lives.

Registration Now Open

Parents and guardians can now enroll their children in the MILO® Summer Sports Clinics or explore the HomeCourt platform for digital training options.

By combining tradition with innovation, MILO® continues to redefine how Filipino children experience sports—creating more inclusive opportunities for the next generation of champions.
