For a century, Colgate-Palmolive Philippines has been shaping oral health in the country—and now, to mark its 100-year milestone, the iconic brand is taking its commitment a step further. In partnership with the Philippine Dental Association (PDA), Colgate launched a year-long advocacy during National Dental Health Month, providing free dental check-ups to Filipinos across the country.

The initiative addresses a persistent challenge in the Philippines: limited access to dental care, particularly in rural areas, combined with economic and cultural barriers that often deprioritize preventive oral health. “While our first 100 years were about building the foundation, our next 100 will be about deepening our impact,” said Angel Qi, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Colgate-Palmolive Philippines. “We will continue to innovate, elevate standards of care, and support every clinic and community nationwide.”

Making Preventive Care Accessible

Through this campaign, every purchase of Colgate Maximum Cavity Protection Toothpaste allows consumers to redeem a free dental check-up. Participants simply scan the QR code on the product pack to access accredited clinics and detailed redemption mechanics.

Dr. Jun Ninal, PDA President, highlighted the value of early detection: “Many oral health concerns can be avoided—or addressed early—through routine check-ups. Together with Colgate, we aim to bring health, dignity, and confidence to every Filipino, one smile at a time.”

The advocacy extends beyond consultations. Educational programs will accompany the campaign, emphasizing daily oral care habits to promote long-term dental health, aligning with Colgate and PDA’s mission of preventive care and community education.

Celebrity Support for a Shared Cause

Colgate brand ambassador Kathryn Bernardo joined the launch to show her support. “My hope is that more Filipinos will have access to dental care. Awareness is key, and together we can make preventive care accessible to everyone,” Bernardo said.

From children forming lifelong habits to seniors seeking long-overdue care, this initiative aims to turn a simple purchase into an opportunity for better oral health and wellness.
