Known for its craft beers and its take on classic Filipino dishes, Alamat is the number one Pinoy gastropub in the metro. After almost a year of successful operations, Notorious Concepts of Brooklyn Industries Group has officially launched Alamat to the public.

Being the first acquisition of Notorious Concepts in Poblacion, Makati, the group aimed to expand and elevate the brand and its service as soon as it was in the portfolio of the food group. James Thomas, Notorious Concepts’ CEO and Brooklyn Industries Group’s CEO Jeffrey Oh’s vision when it came to revamping the already established brand of Alamat was to create a home out of it. They envisioned it to be the must-visit place of anyone who wants the best of what Manila has to offer when it comes to Filipino cuisine.

Jeffrey Oh describes the food of Alamat as “elevated pulutan”. He emphasized that although the food goes well with the drinks that are served in the restaurant, it is also meant to stand out on its own and was made to be interesting and dynamic. Some of the crowd favorites are the Honey Chili Chicken Skin, Pork Belly BBQ, and Mushroom Chicharon for the appetizers, and for the mains, the three variations of the classic sisig consisting of the Alamat Sisig, Crab Fat Sisig, and King Oyster Mushroom Sisig.

When it comes to the alcoholic beverages, Alamat does not hold back when it comes to highlighting Filipino flavors in its cocktails. For the G&T lovers, they have the option to choose from the four variations of the cocktail namely the classic, Tanglad, Pandan, and Salabat. They also have a wide selection of specialty cocktails that are truly Filipino when it comes to its taste like the Barako Hi Ball, Kanlaon Old Fashioned, and Amaretto Express to name a few.
