The most popular dating app in the world, Tinder, is offering its first online dating crash course at the Philippines School of SwipeTM. School of Swipe, a first-of-its-kind, entertaining dating starter kit for young adult singles, is a one-stop resource for information about online dating. The Philippines will launch School of SwipeTM this year, following Singapore and Spain. The project assists Pinoy singles in dating responsibly and with confidence.

Young singletons remain unsure about how to start their dating journey and to know more about dating, Pinoy young adults reach out to their friends,  or connect on virtual communities on social media.  In fact, a survey conducted by Tinder this year revealed that 74% of Pinoy young adults aged 18-25 years old are excited to date while 68% feel hopeful about their dating future. Living in the early stages of their exploratory years, the survey further revealed that 44% of young singles are curious about the dating journey that awaits them.*

Pinoy young adults told Tinder about the different reasons they date today: 86% are looking for their itinadhana, 61% date to find their own happiness, and 43% date to find intimacy. They also shared that they are challenged by different factors that stop them from having a worthwhile dating experience. 43% told Tinder they feel awkward when dating and 23% are in need of help with ice breakers.*

School of Swipe has been built as an easily accessible dating starter kit where online dating is demystified with tips presented in a vibrant and fun way, focusing on common challenges shared amongst Pinoy daters. This starter kit aims to inspire and ignite a fun and safe dating experience for every young single looking to meet someone new.
